Troy Weisshaar has been a student of the human body since he began playing sports at an early age. In college, he became an All-American basketball player and had a professional playing career in Europe. His passion to learn as much as he could about sports performance led to him achieving a B.A. in Exercise Science from Concordia University along with many other athletic certifications. During Troy’s personal training and coaching career he has worked with college and professional athletes as a sports performance coach at Velocity Sports Performance in Canton, MI, an assistant college basketball coach for Concordia University and as head functional trainer at Coresport in Plymouth, MI. Troy’s unique experiences and training style has helped clients of all ages and abilities achieve their fitness goals. In his free time, Troy enjoys an active lifestyle including cycling, swimming, and pushing his body to the limits with a variety of training styles. What motivates Troy most in his career as a trainer, is sharing his valued expertise and seeing the improvement Functional Training has in his clients’ lives.
